Our Story

I have been making tabletop games as a hobby for over 20 years. I have recently started my own business and am planning to publish some of my best games.

All of my games have the following qualities:

  1. Reasonable play time. The play length should be 90 minutes or less.

  2. High quality components thanks to TheGameCrafter.com.

  3. Easy to learn and quick to set up.

  4. A good mix of strategy and luck that will keep both casual and strategic players engaged.

  5. Family friendly.

  6. Theme and game mechanics coincide in order to make the game more immersive.

If you haven’t played many board games,

here are 8 reasons to get into the hobby!

8 Benefits of Playing Board Games

1. Reduces Screen Time: Too much screen time can lead to anxiety, depression, insufficient sleeps, and low test scores.

2. Creates connections with Friends and Family. Board Games require cooperation and if played with the right people, are an ideal way to spend time and strengthen bonds with other people.

3. Produce great memories. I still remember playing Arabian Nights for the first time with some new friends. It was a great night of gaming, eating, and drinking. I will always cherish that memory.

4. Offers valuable teaching tools for children. They can teach kids how to communicate, follow rules, stay seated, have patience, and how to be a graceful loser or winner.

5. Reduce Stress. If you are learning something new, take it slow.

6. Increases cognitive function. Some games require a high level of skill and focus. One study that those who played more games later in life had better cognitive function in areas including memory, thinking speed, problem solving, and general cognitive ability than those who didn’t engage in game playing.

7. Makes socializing easy. While some possess an innate talent for embracing every social situation, others find it difficult to socialize with people–even if they’ve known the person for several years. But, when you’re playing a board game, it provides a social world in itself.

8. Increases confidence. Each time you make a decision while playing a board game, you’re building your faith in your own abilities. Also, when you develop a winning strategy, you’ll start to perceive yourself as being capable, and an intelligent person who can make an effective plan.
